Members Meeting November 15, 2022

The third meeting of the Manchester Woman’s Club for 2022-2023 will be held at the First Parish Church Hall beginning with luncheon at 12 PM.

Good news! The much-anticipated Manchester Woman’s Club Cookbook is here! Please plan on attending. Do not arrive before 11:45 AM. Parking is at a premium, so you are urged to carpool. Another option is to call the Council on Aging (COA), 978-526-7500 to determine if the van is available.

At the meeting, you will receive your two allotted cookbooks, cost of which is $20 per book. Of course, you can take more than two as you will want to give as gifts any time of the year. Please bring your checkbook or cash.

A reminder that the Buy-A-Bulb fundraiser is in full swing. Your contributions support the Friendship Tree and help the Club keep the lights shining brightly each year. Your Buy-A-Bulb donation can be made in honor of friends and loved ones and should be received no later than November 27 for inclusion in the Cricket. The cost is $5 for each remembrance or $20 or 5. If you haven’t received your Buy-A-Bulb envelope or if you need more, you will be able to pick up additional envelopes at the meeting or email Elaine Persons [dancerecp70@gmail.com]. Also, mark your calendars for December 4 at 3:30 PM for the Friendship Tree lighting, hot cocoa and lots of singing.

We are grateful to Bartlett Tree Experts for their time and expertise in placing the lights on the Friendship Tree. Their efforts cap the events for Manchester’s holiday season.
