Committee-Annual Meeting

Committee Chair is appointed by the Club President.

Committee begins work in February, but no later than March.

Annual meeting and luncheon are held the third Tuesday in May at a different venue from the Chapel.

Arrange for a restaurant with a meeting room set-up, including a lectern and mic. Table decorations are also preferred. If the restaurant does not provide, then the Committee could consider purchasing something. Menu should include a few choices and include tax and tip.

Create invitations to include place, date, time, menu choice, etc. Include cost and RSVP with return envelopes addressed to someone on the Committee. Invitation to request member include any contact information changes which will be passed on to the Club Treasurer, Communications, and Yearbook Chairs.

Invitations should go out immediately after the April fundraiser. Package should include a request for payment of dues for next year. Members only have 2 weeks to return envelopes.

Keep a list of who is attending to give restaurant a final count.

The money should be sent to a annual meeting committee member who forwards the money to the Treasurer.

Do not send the slips listing what choices of meal they selected. The chair or a designated member of the committee should keep those and bring to the actual event in case someone forgets the choice she made.

At the annual meeting a Committee member will greet and check off names as members arrive. The Treasurer will also sit and collect dues for next year.
