Purpose: To express the concern of the Club for a member who is ill at home or suffering from the loss of a loved one.
Guidelines:
- A plant or flower will be delivered to a member who is ill at home or returning home from a period of hospitalization.
- A card will be sent to a member in rehabilitation; plant or flower to be delivered when she returns home.
- Upon the death of a member, or her spouse, parent or child, a memorial contribution of $50 will be sent to the organization designated by the member or the family. [Standing Rules revised April 19, 2022.]
- Club members should notify the Committee Chair when learning of a member’s illness or loss. The Chair will notify the Club President of illness and deaths of members.
- The Chair will be responsible for presenting invoices, receipts to the Club’s Treasurer.
The Chair is appointed by the Club President.
