Committee-Nominating

Article VI Sections 1, 2, 3

There shall be a Nominating Committee consisting of three members, one of whom rotates off at the end of each year. It shall be the duty of this Committee to present at the regular meeting preceding the Annual Meeting a complete list of Officers, Directors, a Nominating Committee, an Auditor, and a member of the Scholarship Committee, all to be voted upon by the Club by ballot at the Annual Meeting. Any member may make other nominations from the floor at the Annual Meeting. All Officers and Directors elected, except the members of the Scholarship Committee, shall take office at the close of the Annual Meeting.

The Officers and Auditor shall be elected for one year and may be re-elected at the expiration of their term of office. Two Directors shall be elected for a term of three years. No one except the Treasurer shall serve in any one position more than three consecutive years but may again be eligible for the same office after the intervention of one year.

The Nominating Committee shall fill vacancies, which may occur in the Executive Board before the middle of the Club year. The Executive Board shall fill those, which occur after January 1.

  • Recording Secretary
  • Corresponding Secretary
  • Treasurer
  • Assistant Treasurer
  • Scholarship Committee – 1 person replaced each year
  • Nominating Committee – 3 new members
  • 2 Directors one year
  • 2 Directors two years
  • 2 Directors three years
